33rd TIBF to be held with adherence to health protocols
Ramezani who is also the spokesman and secretary of the policy-making council of the 33rd TIBF said that due to covid-19 pandemic and the necessary limitations, measures should be taken to control the people who will gather in the event.
“At the meetings of the policy-making council of the 33rd Tehran International Book Fair, various methods for holding the event were proposed,” he stated.
“Regarding the time limit, as the event is slated for mid-May, we will hold another meeting on Sunday hoping to make final consultations and decide on the preferable methods,” Ramezani said.
“We will inform the publishers and book activists as soon as possible to enable them to register on the website of the book fair. As well as referring to the book fair, those interested may visit the portal of the event to buy books online,” he added.
Tehran International Book Fair is the top Iranian book event held annually in the Mosalla of Imam Khomeini except in recent years when Iran and countries throughout the world were hit by coronavirus pandemic.
